Children. They are a gift straight from God. It just happens to be a gift that I have just not wanted to receive…aaand I cannot wait to get backlash for that statement. However, there are a lot of us out there, married without kids, and we deserve to be heard! We deserve to be respected! It’s our personal decision and no one can take that away from us! Before I continue with this rant, let me tell you that my first language is sarcasm, so make sure to put on your sarclasses (sarcasm glasses) before you proceed.
Now, let me tell you that I am an aunt to 7 and great-aunt to 3 (so far) and I love every one of them with my life. I would die for them. I would sacrifice myself for their well-being. I would hurt anyone who hurt them. I just don’t want cute little petri-dishes of my own. I’m content with being an aunt to my family and all my friends kids too…heck, I’m Auntie Keren to almost everyone younger than myself, and it’s a label I wear proudly.
Well, now that the intro is out of the way – make sure to stick around. I’ve got lots of fun things in store for this blog. Stories from the perspective of a childless marriage. The good, the better and the awesome. Stay Tuned.
On my way out to……well anywhere……I have no kids.
